わたしのような腋毛好きにとって、好みの腋毛を持つ女性（いわゆる「腋毛女子」）に出会う機会はなかなかありません。それなのに、まるで「腋毛が嫌いな男に限って腋毛女子に出会う」法則でもあるかのように、ヤフー知恵袋や教えてgooといったQ&Aサイトには、腋毛を見られてしまった女性の悲痛な叫びや、腋毛を毛嫌いする男性の愚痴が後を絶ちません。
こちらからすれば、それはどう考えても「歓喜」すべき瞬間のはず。しかし、「セックス中に萎えてしまった」「あれ以来、彼女から連絡が来なくなった」など、まるで腋毛がすべての元凶であるかのような相談が実に多いのです。
もちろん、腋毛好きが少数派である自覚はあります。ですが、そこまであからさまに嫌悪するものでもないだろう、とも思うのです。
